RAW basically means that all the information captured by the camera’s sensor is saved unprocessed. The HX400V is not capable of storing RAW images. Remember that if you decide to use a different aspect ratio, what is cropped out will not be saved. Unless you are not interested in editing your images later, leave as is at 4:3, you can always crop in a photo editor.
